Our Educational Programs

At Dayspring we believe that children and youth are learning the best when they are learning what they strongly desire to learn.  This is called an agency-based approach to education.  Here are our offerings:

*Tuition prices listed are for one student taking one Class.  A multi-class discount applies when two or more classes are taken in an immediate family. This can be more than one class taken by one student, two family members taking one class each, or more than one class taken by more than one family member.

Seedlings (0-3)

This stage is darling and they are so excited to learn just like their bigger siblings.  Each week they will read a little story and learn through feel and play. They will have snacks and enjoy playing with friends.  At this stage they are beginning to understand their senses and we will find great joy in cultivating this with them.

Tuition by Semester:

Little Sprouts

(4-7 year olds)

In this full day program each week they will enjoy beautiful language as they hear timeless stories and poetry that focuses on a letter from the alphabet. They will have snacks, do mini, hands on activities including playtime and crafts. All while learning to love the letters of the alphabet. This will be a great jumpstart to understand words and reading.  After immersing ourselves in beautiful language we turn our attention to the beauty in the world around us.  Beauty in nature as they explore outside.  Beauty in art and music as they participate in playtime, activities and crafts.  The mentors will be focusing in their words that all things said are extremely positive.  They will be teaching the importance of “positive thought thinking” processes as the children take in the beauty that surrounds them.

Tuition by Semester:

Heroic Youth (7-10)

9am - 11am

Our Heroic Youth Clubs offer girls and boys an exciting opportunity to learn about great heroes and heroines and opportunities for leadership. The basic structure of Heroic Youth is as follows.

Books about inspiring leaders. By reading, studying, and discussing the biographies of scientists, artists, humanitarians, and other inspirational people we seek to motivate youth to serve others.

Activities, hero visits, and fieldtrips. Activities create a deeper understanding of the lives of the hero and help make the hero studied more “alive” and relatable.  There are also activities which reflect the standard associated with the hero so youth have the chance to practice what is being taught.

Presentations and book discussions. Speaking in front of a group, or with a group, will train a young girl or boy to verbalize what they think and furnish greater confidence.

Tuition by Semester:

Using old literature short stories, Early Scholars will learn the importance of our ancestors and recognize the heroes in their own families. We encourage students to make the connection that like those that came before us they too have importance and can make a difference in the here and now. This group will also have the opportunity to participate in age/stage appropriate elective courses offered during the 3rd block, including social dance, if they choose to do so.  This will allow them to dip their toe into the scholar program.

The mission of the Parent Program is to provide parents with the support, mentoring, and relationships necessary to nurture education in their homes. On campus we will hold weekly Nourishing Moments where we can study and discuss together. We build strong bonds in our community when we take these moments to uplift one another. We want all mothers to thrive and joyfully share the amazing talents they have during monthly Passion Project nights where they can teach something that’s important to them.
